A 43mm UV-IR control filter that blocks ultraviolet and infrared light to improve color accuracy and reduce blue casts in digital photography and cinematography.
The B+W Basic 486 MRC 43mm UV-IR Filter is designed for digital cinematography and still photography to control ultraviolet and infrared light. It blocks 88% of UV light at 380nm and 95% of IR light at 700nm, ensuring only visible light is recorded. This filter also prevents or minimizes infrared color shifts when used with multi-stop neutral-density filters and reduces unwanted blue casts in daylight with intense UV light.
