Slice Super Safe Carton Opener 10477

The Slice® Super-Safe™ Package Opener is a unique tool with a design ideal for those with dexterity issues or who wear work gloves. Its large, round handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, aligned cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to disengage the black guard. Then, press down with the tool, align, and pull to make the cut. When the 10477 is no longer pressed against the cutting surface, the blade guard is engaged, keeping the user safe in case of a slip. As with all Slice tools, the Super-Safe™ Package Opener features a finger-friendly® blade that is safe to touch, cuts effectively, and lasts up to 11x longer than comparable steel blades. The installed rounded-tip blade (10526) can also be replaced with an optional pointed-tip blade (10528) for materials that require a puncture to start the cut.
